Homestead, Concierge CSA, and Agritourism Destination
Take 5 Farm provided concierge community-supported agriculture to subscribers in rural southwestern Virginia, and worked toward being an agritourism destination featuring luxury camping and live music events. I installed and configured a hosted WordPress website, including WooCommerce. I also consulted on the visual identity, helping select typography, primary color scheme, and logotype.
WooCommerce for CSA Shares Options
The client needed an easy way to collect deposits for farm shares. The client’s USP—the ability for customers to tell the farmer what kind of poultry, pork, or vegetable share they would prefer—called for the use of WooCommerce’s “Select Options” functionality.
A Customized, Personal Touch
The client’s one-on-one relationships with their farm shares customers was business-critical. The concept of a concierge farm vegetable share was novel to most of the client’s prospects. Pages designed for reading comfort and clear communication helped the client reach more prospects and sell them on the idea of customized farm shares grown specifically to a customer’s preferences.
